Product Design Engineer

Lead the industrial design of NeumaCare's physical product, turning clinical, technical and experience requirements into hardware ready for production.

Responsibilities

—Develop the product concept and lead the industrial design of the device — form, materials, finishes and construction solutions.
—Coordinate with the hardware, software, clinical and product teams so the device comes together as one coherent product.
—Take the concept through to a viable final product, ready for prototyping, industrialisation and production.
—Work with engineering and suppliers as needed to get the device production-ready.

Key profile

—Four or more years designing physical products that actually shipped.
—Fluent in CAD, comfortable with 3D printing and short-run manufacturing.
—You read a technical drawing and a user interview with the same attention.
—Catalan, Spanish or English on a hospital floor.

Responsibilities

—Design social, digital and campaign graphics in close coordination with the marketing team.
—Produce banners, presentations and other communication pieces across every channel we use.
—Prepare materials for events — stands, signage and other on-site pieces — plus print-ready files when needed.
—Extend and maintain the brand system — type, colour, iconography, templates — adapting assets and formats across platforms while keeping visual consistency.

Key profile

—A portfolio of brand systems, not only one-off posters.
—Confident across the Adobe suite and Figma; motion is a plus.
—You understand print production and can talk to a printer.
—Comfortable working async with a small, fast team.

Responsibilities

—Ship features across the stack — API, data pipeline and clinical dashboard — for NeumaCare's clinical software.
—Design data models for continuous sensor streams and keep them fast under load.
—Build the bridge between software and hardware: embedded systems integration and communication with sensors and IoT devices.
—Harden the platform for hospitals: auth, audit trails, GDPR, medical-data handling.
—Coordinate with the hardware, product and clinical teams, and share code review, releases and on-call during pilot deployments.

Key profile

—Four or more years in production web development, owning features end to end.
—Solid with TypeScript, React and a relational database; cloud infra a plus.
—Embedded systems and IoT/device-communication experience are a strong plus.
—You care about the clinician using it, not only the architecture.

—Join a weekly, roughly one-hour follow-up session to check where the product stands against real clinical needs.
—Validate use-case flows and clinical requirements, and flag risks, barriers or needed adaptations early.
—Support pilot design and data collection, and help us read what usability sessions turn up.
—Advise on regulatory, safety and ethical questions as they surface, and open doors in the clinical community.

Key profile

—Practising or recently practising nurse or physician, ideally in inpatient care.
—Experience with clinical pilots, research or innovation projects.
—Able to translate between clinical reality and a product team.
—About an hour a week, remote and flexible around your clinical schedule.
